AdSense API: Really need 100k pageviews?

    Hey!

I wanted to make a revenue sharing type site, so I can offer site users a certain % of the commission for the ads on their links. After reading the API reference, I noticed that it says to use the AdSense API you need at least 100k pageviews. Is there any way around this? Is it really true?

    Thanks!

as i i know ad sense don't support this kinds of site and its something like PTC site so i think you should chose another way Like offering your user to create their own profile and some constant uploading service etc ....>

I haven't found any info on this while searching google. They did have an article posted about revenue sharing, but they said you need more than 100k page views to use the AdSense API at all. So, My question is if this is REALLY true and if there is any way around it or something like that?

The answer is simple : you don't need to use the API in order to do adsense revenue sharing.
Simply ask to your users their adsense publisher id and insert it in the adsense code on your pages, you take care of the % of sharing and all conditions.

That's what I've been doing since early 2006 and my most recent site is the one in my sig (I'm in promotion mode since the launch in case you haven't noticed) so you can have a look at the way I do it, look at the html code, it's the old adsense code format, it's easy to control exactly the parameters of each adsense block without going to the adsense admin each time..

Ask again if you need more info.

Google allows this? I thought that modification of the AdSense embed code is against the Google TOS? I may be wrong there, let me know :)

Nothing stopping you wrapping a php if statement around the adsense code. Just need a little function that randomly loads the ad code into your page from a list/database/whatever of various people's adsense IDs. Voila, instant ad sharing.

Google allows this, this is not a modification of the code.
