Adsense and Youtube?

Hi can somebody please clarify if I am allowed ads on the following page which contains:

- An Embedded Youtube Video
- A Unique Description of the Video
- Comments

I read that we are not allowed Adsense Ads on a site that contains Embedded Youtube Videos, why is this the case and am i correct? If so then this is dissapointing

 

I had a web site up for over a year that had an embedded youtube video on it and LOADS of adsense adds all around it, and a short comment on the video underneath to classify the adds that I wanted to display. It may pay for you to add a title to the page in <H1> tags, but if you have some content on the site, then you should be pretty safe. I earned over $100 per day on this site when it was in full swing!

we are talking abt adsense in pages which has youtube videos

 

Yes he's right. This is pretty sad, the thing is i'm wondering..

I see so many video sites that have Adsense all around there video pages, so I am wondering if i should go for it. But knowing my luck i'll be slapped with a ban from Adsense.
I've even seen sites that put ads at the bottom of their Youtube Video player.

if you grab videos thru rss or any other method from youtube and making video niche site chances are there to ban

but it is ok if you display few youtube videos in your blog or site along with your contents

 

why not just use something other than adsense?

well im not sure about this, but im sure if auto creating websites that grabs youtube videos is sure not allowed. But you can make video websites with embed codes, you can take videos from many other hosting company, you can write good descriptions and i believe you will be safe. I have many video websites, well actually i have www.htportal.org it have pictures, videos, news, but i also put adsense code where youtube videos are so adsense and youtube have no problems, only adsense and autogenerated youtube videos websites have problem.

 

You can have both on a page. Some websites do a ton of revenue with the right content.

 

Yes well my site is multi-entertainment, videos is only 1 section and only admin can submit videos, which are along with description etc. so maybe I am fine.
I guess another option would be to not put ads on the video section and have them on all other sections, but for me video section has the most potential as described above my many of you.
I'm going to have a good read of YT and Adsense TOS later anyway!!
