Hey, Just a quick question. I have been using Adsense on YouTube videos for a while now and the ads tend to come up pretty quickly, but I made a video that used a music track that someone else made (I have full permission to use it, and have proof). When I applied for ads, they finally contacting me saying to me about the music track. I then submitted all the proof to them and here is where my question comes in. Does anyone know how much it tends to take for YouTube to look at the information and decide if ads is allowed if you have to prove you have permission to use something for commercial gain as it has been around three days now and I have not heard anything back. Thanks for reading.
I have personally provided proof for the Music track of commercial use licence which I used in my video , but youtube did not approved it for showing ads .It usually take 3 working days . All the best to get approved
based on experience, it usually takes 3 days to a week. I hope you get a positive response from youtube.
They asked me about a video I made of my roomba (without music, they asked about the video itself) I answered and got no answer, adsense was not enabled either. Also on some of my videos the adsense has been pending reviews for weeks.. It happens especially when the video are long. If I send videos below 5 minutes long then the approval for monetization was pretty quick.
Thanks for your replies. Just letting you know they have approved it. They normally approve my other videos in seconds, but first time I actually started to licence music rather than making my own.
