Is there an automated easy way to add an adsense block to left of the most recent post on the homepage on WP and have the text of the post wrap around the adsense block? Essentially, I just want it on the most recent post. Hence, when I add a new post, the adsense post would automatically strip off the older post and show up only on the most recent post? Thank you

I just upgraded WP to the latest version. If I did use one of these plugins and was able to add adsense to earlier blog posts, what would happen to them if I upgraded to the lastest version of WP and the plugin did not work? Would the old posts still show the ads or would I then have to manually go through all the old posts and recode each of them by hand.
