How easy is it to integrate your google adsense into Wordpress?

I noticed today that I pasted my adsense code into the write field but it didn't display.

Which page should be used to paste the code into anyway?

There is an adsense plugin, where you insert a comment in your stories and the defined adsense block is placed at that point on the page.

The alternative method, which I found works quite well is to decide where it will go, and then insert the adsense code into the page template. That way you can specify that on the main page, or any page which displays your story teasers, you want it to display the adsense block after stories 1, 4, and 8.

I normally did that, and also coded into the story where it would flow the article text around an adsense block if we were actually on the story page. If not, adsense wouldn't show.

Go to presentation option from the dashboard, edit through theme editor, pick up the option from the right you want such as sidebar footer etc, just paste the code at a relevant position.

If you still need more help, get in touch with me and i will add the code to your site.
    Have a good day :)

If you check out my site, www.randomfix.com, I have text links in the header.php template. I have a 728x90 I believe in my footer. Throughout my posts I try to put a square in the longer posts that will match the square type ads.

I'm trying to find out what would be good for the single post pages. I don't like my site to be cluttered with ads as that turns viewers off in my opinion. Adsense Deluxe is a great plug-in too that I use.

adsense deluxed is the best plugin. But you might also consider the ff. files on your templates.

    header.php
    sidebar.php
    single.php
    category.php/page.php
