lot of people here are interested in making money.so they are not worried about the site quality, they only care about the traffic and returns...

Money is one thing and quality second but yet they are both so important, if your site looks less trustworthy you will make less money. I think Google should introduce few other layouts for the adsense ads

I decided to use some image ads from them, they look bit better

I have a friend who won't add adsense to his site because he says it makes it look like a "mom and pop" site. I held off on adding asense for a good while, and only last week decided to try it. I stick with it for a while, but my traffic is not yet high enough to earn any real money.

I actually feel that the verdict isn't as 'anti-adsense' as I'd expected. I guess that's because the ads really are so very targeted. As far as ads go, one could do a lot (think smiley-ads) worse.

To be honest I don't like sites with ads that are so in your face that they're the only thing you see when you load the page. When that happens I simply close the page and look for a better quality site. I hope my ads improve the quality of my site. If I was visiting a site on the same subject with ads in the same place as mine I'd probably stay for longer and click on the ads. Maybe other people think differently and don't like any ads at all.

I think the verdict is even (we also have to remember that the poll results are reflecting mostly views of webmasters who know what the adsense is)

If adsense is used proparly, not to make your site look like MFA website than adsense can add to your sites content. Trisha's site is perfect example. The ads are at the end, not in your face, makees the site looks like it is more about content and makes it look more sticky
