Adsense and Taguchi/Multivariate Testing?

    Hi,

    Has anyone tried Taguchi methods to optimize adsense placement/colors/fonts, etc?

    If so, would you share results, or guide me to related resources.

    It's a statistical method that allows you to determine the outcome of something (e.g. multivariate ad testing) quicker than traditional methods. You don't have to run your experiment as long to find out which ad performs better,

    Not to be too pitchy here (since I do work at YieldBuild), but this is 100% on topic. Our service (YieldBuild) does do a set of algorithmic optimization tests similar to standard Taguchi/MVT methods, to optimize AdSense for publishers. It will alter background color, border color and style, position within publisher-specified zones, and formats (switching between text, image and video ads, where applicable), all with the optimization goal of maximizing page revenue.

    Check it out. We're in beta now but have a growing stable of very happy sites that are seeing 50+% lifts in their AdSense revenue.
