Hello, From what I read, google analyses the IP addresses of adsense publishers to control fraud clicks and banning users. So, in case I have an internet connection with a range of IPs shared among different users, and if one of them get banned by google, what will happen to other users of the same ISP which will share the same dynamic range of IPs? Will they get banned from adsense (in case they are using adsense too) for being in the same IP, even though they are not guilty for that situation? thanks.
google associates an ip address to an account, ie. the ip address that you use to access your account. if there is click fraud associated with your account and your ip, then your account will be banned. so the problem with shared ip is if somebody else sharing your ip would somehow click on your ads multiple times, then google will conclude that you are the one clicking on your own ads.
I have GPRS connection at home and I use it to log into my adsense account. That GPRS Connection has a shared IP Address, which means that every customer of that GPRS connection has the same IP Address. Will It cause me a problem. I want to email my situation to Google Support but I am confused. Please Help.......
I read somewhere, and I wish I remembered where, an article from a black hat who stated that google doesn't track ip's it tracks other stuff like your browser, browser window size, operating system, how many seconds between clicks, how long you remained on a page, etc.
