AdSense and Proxies? Average Click Value?

To proxy owners, what is the average value per click that you're getting from AdSense?

I'm only getting about $0.05 per click, and a lot of times it's $0.02 per click. So I may get 30 clicks, but I only make $1.60 or something like that.

Also, how many clicks do your proxies usually get per day? I'm new to them and I'm just trying to see if I'm about average or not.

I usually get about 1,200 impressions, 20-30 clicks and a couple bucks.

How many clicks you get depends on traffic.

Unfortunately, 2 to 5 cents isn't abnormal for a proxy click.

For the keywords I use I get an average of 25 cents per click. I usually get 50 clicks per 1000 visitors.

I have also heard that Adsense has issues running on proxies. I have heard many getting banned because of this. Be careful all!

It depends a lot of the geographic origin of your traffic, if your visitors are from US you can get some $1+ clicks and an average bigger than 5c per click, but if your traffic is from china, iran, etc is very common to see 1c clicks.

    Good luck

Ah, that'd explain my terrible eCPM, since I run a site targeted at an Asian audience...can't explain my horrid CTR though. :(

Well, what dannet said is that if your traffic is Asia-based, it'll result in low CPC - not that if you have a low CPC, your traffic is Asia-based. You may just be suffering from smart pricing and the wrong niche.

I have a new proxy site that is picking up traffic. I've had 2 clicks today and I've earned $1.29 hopefully it doesn't get smart priced too soon. :p

I can't say much but it is confirmed for me :)

Watch your adsense and your live visitor data(not the one generated once a day) for at least a week and you will understand. My half hourly notes help me understand a lot about my visitors and my adsense earning.

Hey, just don't put adsense codes on the proxified pages, and you'll do fine. Use adbrite or clicksor instead.
That's a pretty good average imo.

Sometimes visitors from foreign countries will earn you very little, compared to US users.

40 clicks once made me only $2.40, and I noticed most of my traffic was from Iran.

    Just letting you know.

How about 197 clicks that makes you $6.70 with 80% US traffic? 3 cents average really sucks. Better try adbrite

Adrite will pay more but for some reason you get less clicks.
