Well I'm making a new site about guppies and one of the articles I'm writing is fish compatible with guppies. I want to add pictures of those fish, but the TOS says about copyright stuff. I was wondering, would it be safe to take pictures off google images and paste them into my article? Even if those pictures didn't have like a watermark on them. Thanks.
I think it would be best just to buy some photos from istockphoto. Even if Google doesn't ban you, you are still infringing on someone's copyright if you just take the images from Google images.
stock photography is soooo cheap... might want to go that route just to be safe. Course 99.999% of people do not go that route.
why dont you take the pic, and edit it around with photoshop. heh. and boom, you got yourself a new pic
Eh, just go ahead and take it. The chances of him ever stumbling across your site and his picture is slim to none. And if lightning does strike, the most he'll do is ask you to remove it, or give him credit for it. What's he gonna do, sue you over a picture you have on your site? No one's going to do that. Even giant corporations just threaten you to take down copyright material. Trust me, I've been asked many times.
damn some one gave me red for a question, come farward if you true son of your father and speak here...
