I was affiliated with Kontera for year and a half now and I had excellent results. Since January 1st I started dividing my site into "Kontera" and "Adsense" sections and made some tests. Kontera was earning some 30% more money than Adsense, and now, when I run both on my site, Kontera is still performing better (some 20%) and earnings from Adsense haven't dropped a bit. I am making these conclusion on small figures (some 880 uniques/day) but I think that my conclusions are not far from everybody's here. I just wanted to remind that I am running software downloads site (first in my sig) and earnings with Adsense on this niche are a bit lower...
VEry interested but I've seen this on their site: "Generate more than 500,000 page impressions per month"
It is the morning of the 24th and I See stats through the 21st. So you should see stats tomorrow. Looks like they lag by a few days. Joel
Seems like the AD is working with IE, not with FF... anyone have the same problem or by chance knowing whats wrong with me?
Works in both IE and FF for me (damn you for making use that second rate, cheap ass FF! lol) anyways, color codes: Default Blue: 5.13% CTR Orange: 2.08% CTR
There's also: "Kontera is currently working in the following countries: USA, Canada and UK. Within the next few months we are planning to launch ContentLinkâ„¢ in France, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands." ... and we know that this isn't the case...
Got the report on my account, earned more than adsense , for the comparative number od adsense, ecpm is high, epc is high. Just got the stats for one day, lets seem some more.
hah, well they still need to work on the relevance issue for Kontera. Not (the attached screenshot) what the ad is for the word "Driving Experience" lol. The catagory I've selected for this site is Automotive... so how that popped up there, I dunno
It's been 3 days. I received a letter from Kontera yesterday welcoming me into the program. But at the same time they said my site still needed to be approved which sounds contradictory. They did say they received an overwhelming response due to Joel Comm's post on this forum. I expect a yay or nay by Monday.
My kontera monetized site is in a health niche, and the ads are pretty much relevant except for some insurance ad. They said, it will take atleast 10 days for things to fall into a stable pattern.
That's what I am wondering about... According to the status... only 1/3 of the pageviews showing their AD...
Well, they clearly stated that it will took around 2 week to exactly monitor your site contents, I too get some irrelevant ads, but I think to wait for few days..
