    Green is good!

I just spoke with my contact at Kontera... they are hustling to get tags to people so they can get going. We're keeping them busy, that's for sure!

Between you and me (and the rest of the world), I think these guys are doing it right. And I believe they have a good chance at making it, even in the shadow of Google.

I insert the code last night but haven't seen any AD yet...
How do you tell that your AD is running??? It's kinda hard to tell since it's not instant.

Well, the earnings from the people that have joined as a result of your post seems really promising. Although not quite up to the level of adsense, it seems perfectly reasonable. Kontere has a lot of potential.

After 3 days, earning seems to be constant

    Total/Avg -- 116,696 -- 4,166 -- 3.57% -- $350.56 -- $3.00
    02/19/2007 -- 36,003 -- 1,270 -- 3.53% -- $110.09 -- $3.06
    02/20/2007 -- 40,084 -- 1,462 -- 3.65% -- $119.40 -- $2.98
    02/21/2007 -- 40,609 -- 1,434 -- 3.53% -- $121.07 -- $2.98
    Total/Avg -- 116,696 -- 4,166 -- 3.57% -- $350.56 -- $3.00

I would be happy to see this extra $3000/month in my bank.:)

I'm finding my earnings to be reasonably stable though they have dropped a little bit from their initial first day.

    02/18/2007 -- 6,063 -- 295 -- 4.87% -- $30.20 -- $4.98
    02/19/2007 -- 6,381 -- 258 -- 4.04% -- $25.78 -- $4.04
    02/20/2007 -- 5,374 -- 218 -- 4.06% -- $18.88 -- $3.51
    02/21/2007 -- 5,867 -- 236 -- 4.02% -- $22.44 -- $3.82

But I'm quite interested to see how the earnings go over the weekend.

If your traffic doesn't drop, I think this revenue should hold. My traffic drops by around 20% on fri/sat/sun.

I applied two days ago, but haven't heard back - perhaps they are overwhelmed now (?)

I have some sites in good paying niches ($.50 to $2.00) per click, but for the last couple of weeks, I saw a steady decline in earnings, with my ctr and ecpm and impressions remaining the same.

Almost all my visitors come from search engine rankings, and are specifically searching for two to three word phrases (gives you an idea of the target), but suddenly I was smartpriced. Atleast one of my site is a near authority in its niche. My ctr hovers at around 8 to 9%.

I saw this thread, and applied for kontera, and I was approved, I put the code on two of my sites, and suddenly I am seeing an increase in my adsense EPC too, i know its a coincidence, but I will have to track it for a week or so.

I signed up yesterday but I haven't heard from them which is strange. My blog gets over 30,000 impressions a day. I put down your name as a reference Joel. :)

There may be too many people signing up and they might start to get a little picky now, would be my guess for all the delays. I was approved about 10 minutes after I signed up, but I did it pretty early when Joel first posted.

My guess is they are overwhelmed. Since opening the program to all publishers, they have had hundreds of new applications. Each one has to have custom tags created.

So, be patient... hang tight. I'm sure they will get to everyone.

I am on the second day of using kontera on one of my site, my click heat map shows a tremendous increase in the clicks (i donot know why), at positions where kontera ad links are getting activated, but I am seeing nothing in my kontera account report.

The heatmap is colored red on those links, so am sure visitors are clicking on it. And my adsense also has improved a bit after using kontera.

How much time till they update, or is it just me.
