I applied for Chitika but then my computer died on me. After getting it back I contacted Chitika as I suspected the reply to my application was lost. I get an answer back at the speed of light. I was also given this url which is of interest to those still pondering how to set up the non-contextual with some advice on finding the bst paying product names. http://chitika.com/blog/index.php?p=9 I inserted the code into one page only. When the minimall didn't show up right away, I left it thinking it just took time. Well, I got another email from Chitika the very next day saying they'd noticed I hadn't implemented the code yet. I said I had and that as I had obviously screwed it up that I would take a look at it and fix it as soon as I had the time. Again I got a speedy response pointing out where the mistake in the code was. I can only say that my experience of Chitika customer service has been excellent. In my thank you email I suggested that Chitika should send a rep over here to DP. Hope they do that soon.
Implemented it on all my sites for 24 hours: 435,000 impressions and 169 clicks. How about that! There're gonna hear from me!
My stats where delayed too, but they look fine, lots of clicks. All the ads are hand picked though, I got almost no clicks in contextual mode.
Guys, I applied for Chitika and got back a denial as they say my site does not have enough traffic. How would any new site generate 1000 or more impressions without being up for atleast a few months? If that is the time one needs to apply, are there any other CPC Programs ( other than Adsense) which are context sensitive?
