Adsense and CJ on the same page?

Is this allowed? I remember reading something about this before on here but with the grey areas of the new AdSense TOS I just want to be sure. Does anyone know?

This part of the policies seems to indicate that it's ok.

CJ and Adsense on the page won't be any problem. Adsense is purely contextual... I run both the ads on one of my blogs and I did not face any problem as of now.

I also run Fastclick and AdSense on the same pages. The keyword here is contextual.

I've been doing both together for about a year.

My CJ tries to be manually contextual.

It would be theoretically possible to build an automated front-end for CJ that was contextual...

My bad. What I wrote doesn't make much sense.

I have been running AdSense and CJ together for about a year.

I try to simulate contextual advertising by manually selecting relevant CJ ads. i.e. I put CJ ads about cars on pages about cars.

It seems to me that I could make a contextual front-end to CJ by:

    1. Creating a database of CJ ads.
    2. Creating a robot to analyze web pages and determine which ad in the database would be most appropriate.
    3. Creating a script to display the selected ad on that page.

I've been thinking of something similar, but without a bot. Creating a database that mirrors my categories with tables and entering ads for those categories. Then randomly display ads throughout the category pages.

Along the same lines... I just tried to buy a text link off a guy who had Adsense running and claimed that google said that paid textllinks on the same page violated their TOS, but that if he added a small image next to the paid link, they were ok with it.

Does anyone know anything about this. I know the guy wasn't BSing me... but maybe he was confused.

I'd be surprised. Unless google has access to his email, and out of billions of people around the world, chose to single him out and monitor his emails and paypal account for the words "sell a text link," I don't see how they could possibly determine if a link is one he put there of his own free will, or one he sold.

I agree, but I think it had something to do with him having the links titled as "Advertisers" but I still don't know what the problem was.
