Adsense and Chitika

I did all the adjustments yesterday and put it on some pages. Ads showing according to keywords. Seems pretty smooth.Thanks for all the good tips.

 

What pisses me off about the eminimalls, is the fact they don't display correctly in FireFox...

That is *really* crap IMO.

 

I am using Firefox, but have not faced any problems. Can you point out the problem you are facing?

 

It's not on all of the layouts...

It's on the search tab...

 

Funny, I have had no problems with Search too. However, since I use Adsense, I had to disable Chitika Search by this setting -
ch_nosearch = 1;

Also, they are introducing channels soon and you should put this line too -
ch_sid = 'chess';
(Replace chess with some word that identifies your channel. You are free to use any word).

I spoke to Chitika CEO Venkat Kolluri earlier and he said "eMiniMalls is AdSense compatible when used in non-contextual mode. That said, on products/gadgets
sites or blogs, when properly integrated into the content, our eMiniMalls revenue is turning out to be 1X - 4X the revenue from traditional contextual ads such as AdSense."

thanks for the great tips on using eMiniMalls. I have just added it to my site and it works great! I'm using firefox too.

 

Hmm jst got approved to chitika...would be interesting to know how much does it pay....i mean...is it good or better to have..?

 

My experience so far (running Adsense and eMiniMalls together) is Chitika pays far more than Adsense.

 

Chitika replied to my query on clicks from China and India, thus "Please do not think that India and China is being singled out. The problem is that, at this time, we dont have merchants who are willing to accept leads from India, China and Asia in general. That said, when we do manage to strike partnerships in Asia and build the merchant base who accept clicks from Asia, this program will be expanded to accept clicks from Asia. We have to start somewhere (and as you well know US is the place to start). As this program matures and we add partnership, this program will expand with it. If I remember right, isnt that how Adsense also started ? "

 

Thanks, I just tried it out. I'm making about the same as I used to make with AdSense.

I have to say that Chitika also have good and personalised customer service. Being such a klutz I do appreciate when someone takes the time to point me in the right direction.

 

I have read many people saying "I got the payment from google adsense". Is there anyone earning from Chitika?

If chitika not allowed with adsense then why they tell "works with google adsense" in their site https://chitika.com/ ?!

I have experience with Chitika, they will pay you good only for search traffic + US/Canada traffic.

 

Its our Unfortunate if we target India as audiance....

 

Is there any free version available?

 

Is it correct, we wont get revenue for Indian/Chinese visite ?
