    Hi,

I have recently launched a new website (last week): lovequotescollection.com
And luckily it started picking up on yahoo first. I am getting 100 unique visitors a day. Just wanna to know i am using google adsense and amazon's web services for real time books display based upon users choice of page.

You guys are great, i have been reading through the posts and thought you guys can help me in understanding this stuff.

Not seeing much clicks just 1 click per day from adsense.

In last seven days i received 1,547 page impressions, 9 clicks and i guess from 2-3 are mine. 0.6 CTR and $0.80 earning.

Is this good bad or average. Not sure compelte newbee.

First piece of advice - don't click your own ads. That's a sure fire to get your account shut down.

    cas,
It looks like the norm for a new site. Visitors seem to be hesitate to click ads on a new site. Wait a couple of weeks until they get more comfortable with your site, and you will see more clicks.

Thanks for the advice. Do you think its a good start. I saw a post here about putting the ad after every five posts. Do you think i should do that in my website. I was not know if i can manipulate and reuse the code like that. I will put the code in the loop structure that displays various quotations from a category.

    Any suggestions!

    Seems it will increase CTR.

Perhaps try sticking the ad block right in with your quotes. (make it be the first item).

    Nice dog in your avatar!

If you want more clicks you could stick adsense on your homepage.

Also, there is a lot of white space to the right of your logo which you could use.

But whether or not you do that depends on how far you want to whore your site. I take my sites all the way, but try to put real content underneath as that appears to be what gets me into the search engines.

Echoeing the tip given above: Don't do that. And you might want to read the TOS again, which you already did read didn't you?

.80-cents/day on 100 uniques/day isn't all too bad. Plus, you have to consider that your area (quotes?) probably pays very little per click. I'd give it two/three months to see if your traffic picks up, and if your Adsense earnings picks up likewise. If not, then maybe Adsense isn't right for your site. But a week is not nearly long enough to conclude anything. In fact, it might be a better idea not to slap on ads/banners while you're starting out. I didn't put anything on my site until a year later.

How do we know that which area pays how much? I am not putting ads except adsense. Amazon web services links are not outbound links as i am using my own cart for amazon and it goes to amazon only when someone checkout from cart. And that is a form based outbound link?

Any idea of putting a forum or blog, i have access to unique article books on love and relationship. Any suggestions please?
