Many people get banned from Adsense everyday. Some because of their own mistakes and some because of some uncertain reasons. I am now in the process of building micro niche sites and am planning to offer the service in DP. So now I am preparing for the customer service support. As a micro niche sites are built, they surely have a purpose. That is to make money, of course. They can make easy money if you can build it in the correct way. Many use Adsense, Amazon, Clickbank, and other CPA networks to earn from those sites. Basically, there are passive income sites. So here is the question: what are the alternatives of Adsense? And do they really pay?
Used to use AdBrite and it was a pretty good payer, but they changed to goalposts and said I wasn't sending them enough traffic. Some of my sites I daren't put AdSense on, so I'm using a combination of Chitika and Amazon Associates and it seems to be working quite nicely. Chitika pays by PayPal and Amazon discounts my shopping (I'm an Amazon addict) so I'm pretty happy with them.
chitika, infolinks, kontera are paying regularly and on time, that's for sure (I am a witness) Now, adsense has a much much higher eCPM than any of those, and even several together on the same page. That's sad, but adsense competition is very far.. But when I had really a lot of traffic and earning nearly $1,000 a day from adsense, last year, I still got several thousands $ a month from infolinks (that's the only one I've put on the same high traffic pages with adsense) So, from adsense I got about $30,000 for a month when with infolinks it was like $2,000-$3,000 for that same month.. I didn't have infolinks everywhere while adsense was everywhere, on all my sites, but you can still get an idea of the big difference between those two ad networks. Also of course, infolinks and adsense are not the same kind of ads, but you get my point, at the end of the day what matters is the monthly earnings, and while you can earn money with infolinks, it is no match to adsense.. So for micro niche, since it's your topic, the traffic will be very targeted but very low, so for this if you can't use adsense, the best would be targeted affiliates programs, with those you can make even more money than with adsense if the products are really relevant to the visitors, and if you want you can put infolinks for very small earnings too, but it will be ridiculous, really.
