Adsense Alternatives for a Games Site

Hi,

I own and run MostPlays.com

The site currently averages around 2800 uniques per day but only makes around $3 - $4 on adsense,

What ther alternative ads could be used and which would pay the highest for my site?

www.adtoll.com is good for game sites.

 

I think the positioning of you Ads could be a little better, this might help raise your click thru rates..

I would put some in between your title and your games...

 

We have a huge and expanding 'Entertianment & Games' vertical and you are right we are great for game related sites. A lot of our top performing sites are game related.

You should be making more then $4 a day from adsense. You might want to optimize the ads (position and colors) before looking for an alternative. I can give you a few tips if needed, just ask

Have you tried widgetbucks?

 

Put some affiliate links. Adsense conversion is very low.

 

CPA banners would be nice..

 

What sort of a figure should 2,800 uniques a day be earning on average then?

Try BurstMedia. Ive heard its good for sites with high pageviews.

 

Why dont you put a ad just below the sign in button? It's really good

 

Check out Google Adsense optimization for website. Try out different ad position and stick with best converting ad position. You can create channels for tracking which ad is converting and which is not.

 

i think better use bidvertiser for ur site.

 

Try some txt link adsense ads across the main index page..and i bet youll see more results..

as far as other things similar adbrite is good..

Adtoll (cpc) works GREAT on arcades!! There are lots of gaming ads is probably why.

As adsense aside you could make a premium sitewide links section for your site. With traffic like that you should get $4 a month or so per link.
