If have 3 sets of adsense ads on my site, and 1 set goes to the alternate which is adbrite contextual, does that violate googles TOS?

I don't know, but I saw a lot of people using google with adbrite with no problems.

I dont think that they will disallow other advertisements with adsense. Seems a lot of websites who multiple adverts, different companies.

they allow it so they can say later that you broke their TOS and not give you your money.
Thats what they have done to a couple of ppl i know.

Adbrite doesnt care.. google ads is too picky

does adsense TOS hold us from displaying any other ads? I think we can and there are many examples.

Technically speaking, it does - the AdSense ToS forbids displaying other contextual ads on the same page as AdSense. However, I was under the impression that the AdSense code would only display the Alternate URL if there were no AdSense ads to display.

I'd check with Google on this one - better safe than sorry. ;)

Yes, the AdSense ToS forbids (paraphrasing) "other contextual ads, or ads that mimic the look of AdSense ads, from being displayed on the same page as Adsense".
