    Google doesn't accept 5 Adsense units on a page, they only accept 3 Adsense units on a page, but they accept 5 Google Ad Exchange ad units on a page. It's a separate program.

    IMO, I think there is absolutely no need to seek for more than 3 Adsense for Content slot for your blog/site. The reason is that even only one (well placed) ads could give you all the revenue you want. So, it's not about number, it's about position and quality of content. Currently, Google only allows 3 slots - hold on to that while you build your site towards qualifying as Premium publisher which comes with a lot of added benefits.

    I recently had a word with a support staff located in Hyderabad and this is what he said - You can place 3 banner ads and 3 link units on a page.
    If there is any updating I am sure everyone might be aware of it.
    Do confirm everything before you actually try it.
