I have seen blogs that have adsense right under the post, i would like to know what i have to do to make that to. Is it dificult? Envolves lots of html? I'm quite noob in that...
Just place the adsense code in the template under the post html. Very easy. Use the preview option to make sure you did it right before you publish your changes.
You may want to use some logic and wrap your AdSense code in <ItemPage>...your AdSense code here...</ItemPage> tags. Otherwise you will end up with too many ads on your main page (you can only run 3 ad units per page) since you would have an ad after every post (I'm assuming you show more than 3 posts per page).
They automatically get get cut off. Seems Google won't display more than 3. I display 3 posts on the main page of a forum blog but the ads get cropped after 3 on the archive pages. The same happens on the index of the site too if I change to more than 3 entries.
I know they will automatically cut them, but it's not very clean... the end user ends up making a backend request for a new ad for every ad, so if you have a ton, it can slow things down for the end user.
Thanks for the quick answers! I'll try that later tonight! I have another doubt, the ads are going to be related to each single post or relevant to the all page content like any regular skyscraper or so placed on the sidebar?
they will be relevant to whatever page you are looking at. So if you are looking at the main page, it will be all posts, if you are looking at the individual pages, it will be the individual post.
So if i have lets say 3 posts in the same page...And if i put a small banner with only one ad, the showing ads are going to be the same in all 3 posts? There's any way to the ads to be relevant to the content of each single post? Hope i explained well and sorry about my lousy english...
The ads will be different, but are going to be focused on whatever topics are on the PAGE, it's not going to isolate each one to individual post topics.
So that means that in the same page i may have a post about flowers, and an ad about cars. And on my post about dogs i may have the flower related ad, that's right?
You are correct (unless you are you looking at the individual post page where it only shows that one post).
Not sure what I did, but here I have my logo above every single post. When you edit your blogger template, you can see where I have inserted it. Coming to think of it, I will try it with adsense
Ok now i get it! About that ItemPage you told before, what if i only want ad under the 1st post? what do i have to use? My idea is: Horizontal Ad links on top, Small skycraper on the side bar and...Because we can only use 3 ads units, only one small banner (don't know if its called like that) under the 1st post of the page!
There i managed to find where to put the adsense code and it really was easy but now the <itempage that you said digitalpoint, didn't worked or i'm making something wrong! When i put just the adsense code it showed ads under 2 posts! (I remember i already have one Ad link unit and one small skyscraper) When i wraped the adsense code with the ItemPage, the ads simply disappear!! Is it possible?? EDIT My mistake, i wrote Itempage instead of item page! :/ I'm having another problem now...When i put item page wraped around this new unit, my skycraper disapear and it shows 3 units under the posts. Is it possible to maintain the skycraper on the sidebar and just 2 Units under the two first posts of the page? Am i breaking some rules with Ads under 2 posts, Ad link unit and Skycraper on the same page? EDIT I guess i'm not!
is there any possible way of integrating your adsense adds IN THE content of your articles, let's say in the midle? apreciate the help.
