This is my first post (don't know why I'm so nervous ) I have been reading everything I can possibly find and I feel mental-overload seeping in, decided to ask the experts. I have a very new website, signed up for adsense and I'm still learning as I go. However, after reading the plethora of information here, I am also interested in affiliate programs. So, my question is, can I have adsense AND affiliate programs? Thanks in advance, ~webigail~
Yes, you certainly can. just sign up with an appropriate supplier, choose an appropriate product and they will supply you with code for your site that identifies you in the same way that Adsense code does. Sales are reported on your Affiliate customer pages and commissions noted and paid monthly provided they reach a payable total. Good luck with both Adsense and affiliate products.
I use both and it helps double my income every month. It is most definitely allowed and I encourage it quite a bit. I personally use a store-front manager and CJ for my affiliate networks. We'll be using LinkShare soon when our iTunes feeds kick in, but mostly they are CJ affiliate commissions. Best of luck in the new year!
As Rod stated, yes! Search out Commission Junction, LinkShare & ShareASale. There are a ton of other ones as well, but this should give you a good start. Have fun!
