I bet you will get more money from video ads, think about it. Google will be charging more, because the bandwidth of the videos will kill them. So they'll feel the need to charge the adwords user more, thus HOPEFULLY meaning we get more of the pay.

I'm interested to see how much the respond will be, if it is based on the same principle as adwords, we can have many videos showing up since they can be displayed for a very low price.
I'm curious to see the first ones on my websites.

This is going to be interesting to see.
Video ads should generate way more traffic/revenue then text link ones IMO.
    Plus they'll look pretty.

Well, to the end users, video ads will surely be more attractive and thus bring in more clicks and money to the publisher. I'm just wondering what the actual ad would be like, waiting to see it soon.

it would be interesting if they can allow outlinks at different parts of the video, when users pause them - i would pay for that.

Interesting move forwards! I guess they suddenly wont appear on publishers pages unless they specify the specific ads. I wonder how long it will take to get a good range of video catagories so that you can play videos on any catagory of website.

There's a news that pay-per-click video of adsense will be finally launched next week! I think it's yet another clever idea from google and hopefully, this will benefit publishers too.

You can view the reuters report in
Google reinvents TV ads with pay-per-click video

That's interesting. Thanks. I wonder if publishers need to make changes to their code to accept this, or if this is done automatically.

I remember reading a interview with the CEO of shockwave.com & atomfilms.com, he said that they where getting a $20 to $30 CPM for video ads preloading before games & short clips :) :) :)

Without a doubt, adsence video is going to have a premium CPM or PPC.

    Exciting times...

Latest in series on ad format, the Video Ads. Google has announced today that it is gonna start video ads on websites now. The ads Google is placing, by contrast, will appear on conventional Web pages; users will see a single image, and the video will play only if they click a button.

It would be great if advertisers will say in the first picture "Click here to start the presentation" or something like that :)
