Adsense ads with typos/mispellings

I just noticed ads running on my site with mispellings here:
They have "Being" instead of "Begin".

You'd think there would be something in place to control this...wouldn't you? Has anyone else noticed this on their site?

Its not down to Google. Its down to the advertiser. I think Google would take more care.

Did it not pick up the typo because "Being" is a word? I don't use Adwords so I don't know.

sounds like a job for a grammar cheecker not a spenlin cheker :)

u Wluld thkn a big ssite like DP culd fix thisl.

But I read a study that people don't really read words they scan them so as long as mostt o th letters are right they still undertstands. So the exampless you give iss stilll readable. But you do gotz a keen eye.

I guess Google doesn't care, as long as they get paid for the ad being clicked! :p

    Now THAT is funny. :D

True, but they should do something about it. It looks like CRAP all over my site...and many others. But I don't want to filter it incase it pays well. :D

some people would advertise with typo on purpose as there are some people who will search that way. it is not upto google to catch the mistake as it may not be a mistake in the first place. it is upto advertisers which title and description they would select.

You could report that ad and the advertiser will have to fix the problems. It breaks at least 2 rules in the adword editorial policy... spelling... and the use of "Click Here".
