The ads that I am getting on my page seem to be 85% based on the name of the page rather than the content. www.thepublicenemy.net Is this normal for everyone?
well, it looks like your main content for your site is your forum posts. That's a pretty random content source. If you really want to generate ads more applicable to your site you'll probably have to write the content yourself. At least that's what I'm thinking. Nice site, btw.
Thanks for the props and for the comments! Its my first VB attemt and it has only been up for about 20 days. Yes it is based around the forums. In fact my news is pulled off of the forums. (obvious I know) I was thinking of actually writing some articles that fit along with our site and posting them in a html page. Maybe something to the nature of computer hardware reviews like video cards, memory, raid, etc. This is something that we talk about a lot anyway so it would actually fit in.
using <!-- google_ad_section_start --> <!-- google_ad_section_end --> may help you . read https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=23168
The articles and reviews will definatly help overall, but if they dont show on the forum pages, they wont necessarily help the ads on the posts.
