All of us wish Adsense will do the same (open in new window). Please have a look at the homepage of OnlineReadingCenter.com to see how one of the ads (234 x 60) looks like.
I guess google is gonna introduce such a feature soon. I read in some forum that adsense is already beta testing it and just like the change in "google ads" instead of "ads by goooooooooooooogle" some adsense ads do open in a new window. I haven't personally seen any such ads till now.
I didn't realise that "open in new window" is not understood. Without it one's webpage(s) will "fly away" (gone!!!). Thanks peepin2me for your excellent comments especially the part you wrote "adsense ads do open in a new window."
Please Delete this Useless Thread We are not allowed to modify the Adsense code. OP is just spamming. Google is NOT introducing this feature soon. What would give you that idea?
I'm giving you AuctionAds code because I wish to show great similarities between AuctionAds' and Google Adsense's codes and hope Adsense will do the same. I doubt many are aware of the codes just made available today by AuctionAds.
I don't see adsense ads on that site? EDIT: In the threads there is adsense ads, but they don't open in a new window for moi.
Those ads don't open up to a new windows for me. I believe that Google does not allow opening up a new windows is to protect the paying Adword Advertisers. I believe they want them to have their money's worth. If it opens up to a new window then although it is good for the website publisher, the advertisers would be shortchanged. Since people tend to block popups and close windows. The Google Ads program is not so much about making Adsense publishers profit from the program but more so to allow those paying Adwords advertisers gain from their advertising campaign.
I had visited http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/f724/ but the Adsense ads I clicked didn't open any new windows. I guess all of us are giving them a lot of clicks. I agree with eddy2099 that
Please don't click on the ads on that URL just to see if they open in a new window. That's ridiculous. I think you are right, people are giving him/her a lot of clicks.
if its for premium publishers..it will be only available for them. i guess we should stop dreaming and get back to work. opening adsense in new window is against TOS for a normal publisher
good way to get free clicks..i can't believe people actually clicked to see if it opens or not smart dude
The temptation is so great to click because many of us here have yet to see (or heard officially) an Adsense Ads opening a new window.
opening the ads in new window is not allowed and the link that you is not the official link for adsense .
