Hello people, Im trying to figure out if it is not violating Adsense rules when adding Adsense ads on some pages from photo gallery with a single image on page only and no other content. (referring to the rule about lack of content on page or something like this) Here is the screenshot about what i mean: Please advice if you think it is violating Adsense rules... or im just a paranoid? Thanks!
AdSense really relies on text content, so even if you're not breaking the rules you are probably missing out on well targeted ads. My suspicion is that there is too little content there... but you could always ask them for a definitive answer. The worst they can do is say "Sorry, there's not enough content there so please put your ads elsewhere".
Thanks for your response CountryBoy, Regarding misstargeting: actually there are still a bit of text: title and meta tags and meta keywords that probably helps to target ads a little bit but not too much i agree. But im much more worried of visual lack of content to qualify show ads.... in the other hand pixazza/luminate (Adsense powered ad serving company for images) are ok with this as long as they have approved. Yes probably the best would be to post on their (Adsense) board to be sure what they think to avoid problems.
