Are adsense ads becoming irrelevant to the page keyword and content? Because for the past few months I have nolticed a decreasing trend in CTR. The layout is the same, traffic is same but fewer people are clicking on ads. Anybody saw any changes in CTR?
How would removing your ads for a week then putting it back on improve CTR? If I am not wrong, you can filter out ads that you do not want to be shown on your site.
Hey --- No adsense is not showing irrelevant ads at all there are two types which matters how Adsense will display ads, 1 - Based on Your Keywords 2 - Based on the search queries that what thing a visitor searches most on google Hope it helps
Quite simple...while the ads are removed, your CTR will be 0% Then when you put them back on it can only go UP
Google adsense ads appear to become irrelevant when the Keyword's daily budget excees for all ads of that category. Suppose it was finance domain and ur ads are supposed to be all finance. When daily limit exceeds for each of the advertiser, google is forced to display as from another category say iPhone which has higher budget allocated by advertisers. hope thats helpful
i know that adsense in the adult world died a long time ago. i thought mainstream ads were still doing decently, though.
You can increase ad relevancy by using adsense section targeting i.e. you tell google which parts of content to emphasize while showing ads. The HTML tags to emphasize a page section take the following format: <!-- google_ad_section_start --> Your content <!-- google_ad_section_end --> Want more tips.
