Adsense ads aren't relevant ads.

    I've got a Golf blog that I'm working on getting up and running, but for some reason the Adsense ad's have nothing to do with golf...they're all ads for Blogs, and writing Blogs. How would I get these ads to be golf / sports related? I'm sure I would see a higher click percentage if they were somewhat related to my blog content.

    how old is your blog? how much content do you have? do use meta keywords and description? does your blog template utilize <h1> and <h2> tags?

    Hello
    Targeted ads appear after the google bots crawls your blog.
    So wait for few days and all will be fine

    Also, try to build more backlinks - and the crawler will come more, yes?

    The blog is relatively new, but it does us the H1 and H2 tags. I do have meta kw and description in the template also. I'm guessing it just needs some time to be indexed and Adsense will correct itself.

    I'm using Blogger and it won't let me set up the meta tags like a traditional website...it keeps twisting the tags around so they look like this...

    meta content='golf blog, golf forum, golf discussion board,used golf clubs golf equipment reviews, golf clubs, club testing.' name='keywords'/>

    Same for the description. Even when I put them in the normal <meta name="keywords" content= format. Any reason you can think of or a good way to fix it?

    Yes what he said.

    Wrap your content in this.

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
