Adsense ads are not showing up in Wordpress blog

Recently, I took a few months off from working on my blog. However, I decided to start working on it again this weekend, and to my surprise my Adsense ads were no longer showing. I have not received any emails stating that my account has been disabled and I was only showing 1 ad per page at the top. If anybody could yield me some advice it would be greatly appreciated!

As I have posted before on this forum, the first thing to check is your .htaccess and robots.txt file to make sure you are not blocking the Google crawler. If Google can not crawl the site, it will not display its ads. It is very common for people creating add-on domains on a cpanel hosting package to restrict robots in the folders of the master domain thinking that they are addressing duplicate content issues, but by doing that wrongly you can block the Google crawler and thus adsense will not display. If this is the case it is best to setup a 301 redirect for add-on domains rather than blocking robots in the robots.txt file.

I greatly apologize for not replying sooner; in fact, I had completely forgotten about this post. However, that being said, I'm not sure how to address what you're referencing to. (Do understand I'm pretty new to blogging and code in general, but willing to learn the basics of whatever is needed to get this working again.)

I don't understand how the ads had been running completely fine for several months, and I happen to come back a few months later only to find that they had completely disappeared. All settings have been left the same as they always had, and again, I had not received any email from Google referencing the misuse of them.

So, at this point, I am open to anything. This has been quite frustrating. What channels do you guys suggest I go through to get this fixed in the next day or so?

Hey there ! Log into your Google Webmasters account and check for any crawling errors and such. Or simply you can contact Google, they always seem to be very quick in dealing with adwords related queries and give you a swift diagnosis.

Actually, I just put the <meta> tag in, so I'd assume it will take a few hours before any crawl errors would show. I also just posted in Adsense help section, but it'd be really nice if I could just contact Google directly and setup a remote desktop session and get this fixed quickly instead of going through all this cumbersome hassle. :/

Alright, it's been a few days and Google has had time to crawl my site. In the Webmaster tools the following 3 are all showing green checks: DNS, Server Connectivity and Robots.txt Fetch. However, I am still seeing NO ADS. This is very frustrating. I've never had this problem before. If it helps any, I'm using the Ad Injection plug-in to post ads. Anybody have anymore suggestions or advice?
