After reading about copyrights, i thought about my blog.

My blog has adsense ads and for a while i was embeding youtube videos in posts. But then someone said this was not legal? I want to know, is it ok to have adsense Ads and youtube videos (using the provided embed code) on a blog or website?

My blog is about boxing and the videos i get are mainly the build up material to the fights, like the weigh in, press conference (mainly from setanta)..Is this allowed?

The Youtube user records them from his own TV

    Many Thanks.

I would use the adsense vdeo units but there no good. They only allow two units per page and they never show the content i need them to.

It should be fine. As a YouTube user, it's not your job to determine what content is infringing and what isn't. The responsibility falls on YouTube, although YouTube will of course say that it is the responsibility of the person who uploaded the video. No one is going to hold YOU responsible, unless you start re-uploading the infringing videos yourself.

Hi, many thanks for your reply.

But can you have adsense ads on the same page as the youtube videos? The adsense terms and conditions are hard to understand. On one side they say no video allowed, on the other side they say its ok.
