adsense ad units colors matters !!! yes i have faced good experience with this method i have changed the text ad units color combination and made it more attractive and colorful i have added red and dark blue color yesterday and today i got good hits for mine ads i think so visitors and now a days get attracted to different color ad units which helped me a lot to get more earning now ... happy with my new earning and hope it will also help all my friends after reading this !!!!

Some people swear by blending the ads in. I disagree. I want them to stand out. However, I do agree that it is not one size fits all. What works for one site, may not work on another site. Read the google help guide and success stories for some examples. It can be frustrating to change colors all the time. Best thing is to fight the urge to keep changing it with out any long term experiment. It can be helpful to think about your feelings when you look at your site. How can you get your ads to be noticed? What actually looks good to you? If you answer this, chances are you can narrow your choices down. I have seen some dreadful color combinations that people think swear look good because of the site colors. But, if they get the clicks, more power to em. Stephen C
Some people say that blend the ads with the same content colors works best and others say that change colors works best, it depends on the type of the visitors you receive so always try different things with adsense ! congrats
Colour really does depend upon the particular niche you are working in. My golf blog's CTR is far better when the ads are blended. Compare that to my 'make money' niche blog that HAS to have really bright colourful ads or I get nothing! Go figure!
