Instead of having text content, can I have a picture on a page and an adsense ad?
I am saying "only a picture and adsense"
Is it allowed? can I treat the picture as content?
    Thanks for the help:)

Yeah I'm pretty sure that it is allowed. Just don't overdo it and make it a page with AdSense with a little bit or no content, i.e. MFA site... :)

Isn't a page with just a picture "little or no content?"

You do have a point there :)D) but 1 picture with 1 ad is fine IMO. Think about all these image hosting sites that use AdSense... :)

Yes it is allowed. I have specifically contaced google and asked if I could put ads on a page with just a photo. For me, the answer was yes.

Obviously you can ask google with reference to your site directly.

Google did mention that it is hard to get relevant ads with little text content.

This is the only text on my pages with a photo that G said was okay:

    "Kelly Clarkson
    1-9 | 10-18 | 19-27 | 28-36 | 37-45 | 46-54 | 55-63 | 64-72 | 73-81 | 82-90 | 91-91
CLICKING THE PICTURE WILL RETURN YOU TO THE PREVIOUS PAGE"

Goodluck. But there is a blending issue of the image with Ads Placement. Try to research for that as well.

Just to add, that site does horrible in Adsense!

Today: 1,545 page views and just $0.04

So, even if G lets you do it, it may not be the best design!

I would have thought that it was agianst Google's TOS as you needed some text content on your site. Anyway, if you just had a pic & no text, how would Google be able to display relevant ads on your site?

nope, i think it's against TOS as there's no content inside the page. best of all, just shoot an email to google.
