Has anyone gotten this? A buddy of mine was just mailed this from the Adsense Team and we're trying to think of what it might mean. I know that if it was for click fraud, they'll usually write flat out something along those lines. I made sure I asked him if he clicked on any of his ads, told ppl to, used his content search.. or any other activites dealing with fraud... and he said he didn't. Here's what they wrote him: Anyone know what they're exactly saying? How could this man go about getting his account re-instated with the previous letter?
My understanding is that the "siginficant risk" message usually has to do with the content of the site displaying the ads. Is he using copyrighted content without permission, or content that is "adult" or otherwise breaks the Adsense program policies?
I don't think so, one site it was on for months was a niche social networking site... and the other just opened up a few days ago... he's still adding stuff to the site but the site looks completed (no broken links w/ heavy content)... Also, I believe he has a blog too
what's the point of explanations if you don't show the URL's? post the URL's so we can actualy see what is it all about
I can only post the one it's been on for the last few months. The new one, I can't due to him not officially releasing it.. But it's a myspace resource site. The niche site is: thelatinoave . com
In my experience they are talking about click fraud. If they feel that there is unusual activity going on they will disable the account. Once disabled it is very hard to get your account back. They will not give a reason for the disabling, so it is hard to know exactly what you did wrong.
