Recently I have a few friend also failed to get the adsense account and I think Google Adsense has tighten the application as well as maintain the standard of Adsense account. I think this is a good direction to protect the existing adsense accounts. What do you think?

A friend of mine living in france submitted an application at 7pm a few days ago and got an acceptation email at 1am the next day, only 6 hours to be accepted!
So I guess it depends on the country you're from, the main url you submit and some luck.

Yes, Google is strict for countries like India where they get many applications. My friend in USA got immediate acceptance.

I think it depends on where are you located. Here in our country, we get fast approval every time we send request for a new ad sense account.

yeah i guess google tighten its policy and lowering adcost.. mean no more bulky earnings like say 2005, coz there's been a lot of frauds..

just got my company account approved today after about 12 days of waiting.

It's not tough, you just need to have a decent website, that's all.

I think its basically how good your site is.
If its good then nothing matters and you will get accepted. :)
