Adsense Account Has Disappeared

I have used adsense since '08. I have received quite a few checks and have never had a problem with them. Prior to today the last time I logged in was 5 days ago to check my earnings and everything was in order. However, today I noticed ads were not running on my site and when I tried to log into my adsense account it's as if it has completely disappeared, actually it's like it's never existed. I'm taken to a "Welcome to Adsense" page with a sign up option. I noticed that on the my account panel for the email that the account is associated with, the adsense icon is in the "Try something new" section. My Adwords account is still activated, but the small balance I had in there is gone and it's saying it needs my billing information which I provided a long, long time ago. In my search for answers I found out that google will disable/close accounts that it feels have committed a policy violation, but a letter explaining as much is sent out. I have not received any type of letter or noticed. My efforts to get through support are proving frustrating because I keep getting redirected to the start of a troubleshooting page. I'm really perplexed as to what is going on. Has anyone ever experienced such issues?

Funny, considering 78% of my traffic is from google. I'm banned/removed without warning or reason. I know it's not click fraud because I have never once clicked or had anyone click links for. I would like some answers but it seems that it's virtually impossible that I'm going to get that from Google Support. I posted in the help forum, and they're just bypassing my question. I noticed a publisher with a similar problem posted is being ignored to.

You are banned. Clearly you are another victim of click fraud. That's why google banned your account.

JFC, I have been using adsense since Feb 08. I didn't get my first check until Nov of that year. I put a lot of work into my site and it's awfully suspicious that when the site is at its highest popularity (all organic traffic) and making in days what it took months to make that I'm suddenly banned.

That's the risk with AdSense. It's so rigorously policed that there are going to be some innocent victims of the system. It's inevitable. If you rely on Google for a regular monthly income you need a backup plan to make sure you don't get stung.

About what happened to you... didn't you get a chance to appeal? Were you just banned instantaneously, without warning? I've heard that it happens but its quite rare and it only occurs with accounts that clearly break AdSense rules.

Hope you solve your dilemna. Good luck.

I think someone is working hard to get you banned. Most of those who are banned from Google Adsense are those new users. I think with your 2 years of good record, your chance of reinstatement is high.
