    Hi,

I have a certain guy that I annoyed by taking him to paypal claims for money I paid and got a lousy return for.
This guy is threating to make my adsense account disabled if I continue my claim (which I did).

Can he really do anything? if so, can I do anything to prevent?

The only thing he can try to do is clickbomb you. If you see that happening, just email Google and tell them what's up, they should be able to take care of it.

Don't worry too much, if at all. :)

I'd inform google (forward any correspondance to them) so that if it DOES happen, you will have at least made them aware. May not help, but can't hurt.

I've emailed them about 24 hours ago, but got no response yet.

Is there any special form to use or simply follow the contact us link (I submitted under "other").

Google normally takes a few days to reply to these kind of queries, since you have emailed already, even if he Click Bomb after a few days, google (most probably won't) take any action against you. So, you should not worry :)

Just remember, a personal experience: the more close you get to google adsense support team, the more less chances of any problem, so always contact them in case of a problem :)

Very good point. They almost see me as a human now (rather than a nameless entity "out there") and I find that is helping. If in doubt about implementation of something, ask them. They have always responded to me, and by asking them, it shows that you are concerned about TOS etc and they look favorably upon that. It shows that you are not just someone out there sticking up ads left and right but that you are a conscientious site owner.

    Thanks for the tip.

I will update this thread if & when I see any new development.

In the mean time do you think I should tease him by warning other people on his business thread and perhaps give me a bad itrader?

It's a tease I know - but think of the people that might fall into the same trap I did.

I had same problem few weeks ago, and i would like to add that. Adsense support did nothing to help me, and my adsense account got banned.

Adsense account can only check if you are bombed from 1 IP, but what if they click bomb you from several IP's , as now days proxy scripts with java are common ( www.orkutpass.com , etc ) , where you can see google ads with various IP's.

Once banned by google, life is hard to live :( , they block your Domain + Name + Address.

I wish you all the luck, and hope you are not banned like me soon :p

Inform Google about the offender, and also try to somehow ban his ip address from accessing your site.

Well make it as that you can take down all ads same time if its needed. like all ads with one include file. If you notice a click bomb, removing ads from that site for few days is better than risking the account.

Yes, you must inform google about this threat.
Include as much info possible, they surely consider the situation.

few days just you remove your adsense code and put adsense refarral 2.0 code , its hard to click bomb at adsense refarral ... or just you remove all ads from that site till click bomber will forget to come your site.

    2) just you use www.statcounter.com and www.google.com/analytics and www.mybloglog.com ..etc and find IP adress after you click bombed you mail google with those visitors details.

    what is adlogger?

So far putting the adsense referals looks like the best idea, I think I'll give it a go.

Also, perhaps some more affiliate banners instead. - nice idea leandar.
    Thanks so much.

Use some ad manager like adlogger as already mentioned by a lot of people. If you see some invalid clicks or activity in your account, report it to Google immediately. Save all his correspondence/emails/chat also as you might need it later.

Thanks, I was looking for that link to the contact form.

I've saved all emails and chat logs - he is not the nicest person.

About Adlogger - this is from their site:
So I'm now checking clickaid to see if they have the solution, before I switch to google referals.
