mcfox, great post, thanks for taking the time to read and give Josh advice with this thing.

He is an up and coming superstar in this business, no doubt about it (Shawn's long lost little brother I think) and is our biggest young star at Digital Point.

Great comments you gave that should help Josh understand how to comply with the Adsense rules.

Welcome to Digital Point, did you do your introduction thread yet?

If you do one so will I

I did add keywords to the smileyville site, but that was only after Google dropped me and I was trying other ad networks.. I also only added the popups after I got dropped from Google, trying to make up for the revenu drop... I did have popunders before, but they where underneath the window, so I dont think they obscured the google ads or nav at all. Its possible though.

Nope, it wasn't in any app.

You are right about neading to make another site on a new subject ;) I am thinking making one for webhosting maybe..

any person who has "for every person who clicks this link, i get 2 cents..." in their signature link...deserves to get kicked out of everything. PERIOD

Well, I was playing around with blind links, and they said to use whatever anchor text I wanted.., so I thought I'd see what gets the most response ;)

Don't be discouraged Josh, just learn a lesson and move on, learn more about the Google TOS and how not to break them and you will be fine down the road.

As GEM mentioned, do not encourage folks to click on links or your ads, just put up good content and let the advertising software do the rest :)

Or you could just blend the links invisibly. That's as far as most self-respecting webmasters will go these days. The more AS looks like your content, the better the CPM.

    Thanks. I hope it helps.
Without a doubt! Wish I was as focused at 13. Sadly, hormones overtook all sense of reason ...

Heh! That would do the job if you could get the traffic ;)

Maybe he will be the kid who takes out Google and Microsoft one day for all we know

He is already a star around here and may in fact have a movie made on him one day (Josh, don't get a big head), I wish I was that smart at any age, he is only 13 and knows more programming than most of us will ever know

Dude, if you don't like it, then dont read the thread, its as simple as that ;)

When you can show me another PPC program that will make me half of what I did (well, would have.. ) with Google, I will give adsense up, but until then..

Have you thought about registering a new account under the name of a girlfriend/friend/relative? With their cooperation of course.

Can't remember where, exactly on this forum I read it today. Overature AS is already out there on some high traffic domains.

Josh, if you look on this forum somewhere there's a thread with example links using overature contextual ads
