Adsense Acceptance - generally how long does it take?

Just curious. I've signed up for an adsense account - gotten the verification email, and am at the stage where i need to wait for google to accept/reject me for adsense. About how long does this take? I signed up about a week ago - still haven't heard back from google yet.

I don't know what's normal, but they took about 3-4 days to approve my account (I don't remember exactly).

 

it took just 6hrs for me

 

Think its between 2-4days. Try emailing them, they ussually respond within 24h to email

 

a week is rather long, really. mine got approved within 3 days.

Thanks for your responses. I looked in my email - and it's actually been 11 days now, longer than i had thought. I'll email google - see if there's something i need to do.

well let's hope they say "sorry for the delay, but you're accepted!"

 

I hope you get accepted. It took me about 3 days and then I cancelled that account and re-opened another one and that took about another 2 days

 

I waited a week to get accepted.

 

I emailed google today - and heard back from google about 2 hours later. They were very apologetic about the delay - and i received my acceptance notification a minute or two later - thanks for your help guys

Now to figure out how to use this - Though i'm certain i couldn't be in a better place than Digital Point for learning about adsense! I've already learned so much from reading the forums here - this place rocks!

it took me just 4 hours.

 

They accepted my site in 2 days. However if you applied and have a tiny site with no content, I've heard of them just saying your application is "being reviewed". Rather than just outright rejecting you. I've heard it stays like that forever, just falls into a black hole. Good luck.
