Take a look at yfs1's blog article, You Too Can Be Banned From AdSense With No Money Down (Enquire Within).

I'll be updating the FAQ with a link there.

For n00bies, don't make posts like

    :D:D

Memorize the article and you to can get unbanned....if you didn't do anything wrong..

LOL I guess yfs wrote it.

I like this one btw, in California it's also unlawful to threaten legal action unless you are actively working on it. Just fyi ...

That's actually a great article. Unfortunately a rare circumstance in the grand scheme of things. It shows you can get reinstatement given the right circumstance.

I recall when Critters posted his success story with images here he also had some television media coverage on one of those geek shows. I had suggested that he contact Google to inform them. He kinda chuckled, 'like that's not gonna happen to me', luckily it didn't :).

After readings yfs1's blog article you can see it is possible to be banned for no reason (No violation of TOS). It is further possible to get reinstatement from the kind folks at G, but prior notification to G probably would have avoided the whole mess as yfs1's blog article states.

EDIT: "LOL I guess yfs wrote it." Was thinken the same thing ;-)

    Good stuff :)

I'm obviously not outing Critters here ;) but you would be amazed at the names of people that were banned for "no reason" (I put it in quotes because there is a reason, its just the account holder wasn't responsible), and are either regular and respected posters here or are well known in the SEO world.

I had a flood of PMs when I was looking for tips on how to get reinstated myself and I couldn't believe how many people had gone through a similar process.

They were just smart and kept it to themselves and just took care of it. Thats the difference between them and so many of the people who start threads here complaining. You can post all day about it but when it comes down to it, it is between you and Google and posting does nothing to help you.

    Thanks for the Shout-Out Nintendo

Thanks, I have been helping another member here who I won't name by writing sample emails that they could send to Google over the course of their human review (no, I don't provide that as a service, just doing a favour)

I may post my original mails next week to give examples of tone, content, etc

Absolutely was not inferring that, it just came to me as I thought the circumstances were similar 'a sudden huge spike in traffic' with nothing to back it up that Google could see.

I may be wrong on this but most of the DP posts I see here appear guilty once you start asking questions, as I've have seen you do many times (some rather hilarious:D )...and the truth comes out, yes I did click my own ads. I think your article is intended for the victims of wrongful bannings and the honest at heart :).

For those interested I have now published a Part 2 which includes the letters which I wrote to Google.

Also, if anyone wants to submit the second part to Digg, feel free. The first part got around 700 Diggs in less then 24 hours. I'm not sure if the submitter gets any benefit.

You cant get unbanned from Adsense for invalid click activity. If you make invalid clicks you are out.

I was reinstated a while ago too. My advice is to a) think carefully on your feet and b) remember that a human is reading the email. Don't fill it with overtly dense language, just keep it 'usable'.

Um wrong. Humans dont read most of the emails. If that were the case they would be overwhelmed by tons of stupid inquiries.

Johnnywhiteboy, do you have an adsense acct? If so have you ever contacted Google about any issue? Yes, some initial responses may be canned, but when it comes to decide whether you're in or out indeed that is a human decision.
