    Hi there,

Can anyone help please, my visitors are staying constant, around 1200 a day yet my adsense page impressions and hence earnings have dropped by 80% any ideas why?

It was a good earner, now it may pay for a night out!

Does google penalize you by some sort of restriction?

    Any ideas welcome

Have you been getting PSAs? I would guess that's the only way impressions would drop.

No, google doesn't restrict your website neither penalizes you. You maintained your original amount of impressions, right? So, there is no problem with you. The problem is with Google. I suspect those guys decided that they are giving too much of marginal income to you from your earnings. Therefore, they lowered your margin. Now Google earns more, you earn less. That is the arithmetic I suspect Google does.

By the way, I am with Yahoo! publishing network since this Tuesday. I can tell you this advertizing works better and brings higher income per click than Google. It's always nice when you have a choice and you can back up.

PSA are Public Services Ads. If you have been getting those ads on your site then your income would be i suggest zilch. Only way to gain back the lost revenue is to designt the page with diff. keyword related content. It would again bring in lot of revenue.

I suspect google does ne arithematic on earning margin of publisher. It depends on the bids on ads being shown on your site.

I havent changed any keywords and I get few PSA's

Even if google has changed the payment % that would not effect the impressions would it?

IE warns and blocks active content has this changed in any way ie has it become restrictive? I realise you can adjust the settings.

I've had this happen before and it was caused by a javascript error that was blocking my ads from loading. The 4 sites in your sig seem to be ok. Is it one of them or all of them or another?

Oops, forgot to include that /div.

basically, your Adsense code is broken up when it should all be in one piece.

Good luck with the kids ... can't get them out of bed in the morning and can't get them into it at night.
