I wonder how many people make more than $1000 with Adsense, I need some suggestions from those users. Do you have one giant website or use different domains for your profit, also how long did it take you to get to 1k/month, what is the best way to get the traffic or resource that you used for getting to traffic there/ how many users per day required for that. I have started on developing one site and I dont have traffic.
Look at these forums and search for your answers. A tip many sites make for lighter, safer work in the long run
What is your website about? I think it is easier to have one website that you can promote and manage than have multiple websites. By the way, I don't make $1000/month from adsense.
The one's that make over $1000 a month on adsense most likely spend a large proportion of their income on advertising. And that proportion of their income not spent on advertizing is the $1000 a month.
Hmm i don t think there are too many making 1000 out of adsense as net income.Perhaps combined with several other income sources.
On a past website (not our current ones) we made about $4,000 or so a month. It was a single website related to the state we live in. The site was a few years old when it had Adsense placed on it, and it took a year or so after that before it made much money. Mostly because we didn't really realise it had much potential to make money this way and Adsense was just placed on a couple of pages as a test, and basically forgotten about. A few months later we got a surprise... a $100 cheque from Google! So then we started to think, hey maybe we should take this more seriously, and took steps to do this. It then took progressively less time to get that $100 cheque, until we were getting cheques for steadily growing amounts each month. In the later months it grew by several hundred or so a month, and in the last few it reached something like $3,000-$4,000 per month. The site had about 6,000 visitors a day at the later stage, mostly, though not exclusively, from the state it was related to. It was all natural traffic, no money spent advertising or buying traffic. I think one of the ways we successfully built traffic was by having a lot of competitions. We reviewed movies and got free movie tickets to give away, among other things. This was very popular. Word spread, numbers increased. A lot of return visitors who would come back daily to put more entries in (they were allowed to enter as many times as they liked) or check for new comps, though I don't know if they are the ones who clicked ads. It may have been more of the one time visits. Traffic can be hard to build. We're finding that with our new site! The best thing the last site had going for it was its age before we even put Adsense on it. Lots of visitors already that had built up over time, though we certainly managed to increase this with our comps. We gave them the option to be notified each time new comps went up to, so that meant they were more likely to come back. Anyway, hope this has been of a little help.
