Just wanted to give a quick tip to some of the new members who are having trouble making money on the internet, see the problem with adsense is that it pays very little for your traffic and there is no retention, on the internet every visitor counts, if you are just sending your traffic away you are missing out on a big opportunity, so here is what I would do if I was you. 1. Build your site 2. Remove adsense 3. Add a rss feed or subscription by email or a newsletter box 4. create very good content 5. optimize to increase convertions (to your rss feed, post by email or enewsletter) 6. build your traffic (seo will take a long time, so get traffic right now with youtube, forums, myspace, facebook, twitter) So what will happen? well basically you will have a high convertion rate to your feed or newsletter, instead of sending your visitors away you have a way to bring your visitors back to your site. This way lets say that you have 1,000 people reading your rss feed every time you make a post (with your affiliate link of course) you will have a better chance of getting a comission, so for example if you have a blog about web hosting tips, you have 1,000 raders and you post about your experience with Bluehost (with aff link) if you have a 1% convertion you have just sold 10 hosting accounts, so that is around $100 dollars per sale around $1,000 for 1 post with 1000 readers. So it is much easier to get 1000 rss or e-newsletter readers and promote things to them than having 1000 monthly visitors and make adsense peanuts. Some people kick adsense and go for affiliate marketing after doing research for years n years about it. I have seen some people making 5000$ per week or say some 15 days span.And what a great thing some newbies also earn around 200-300$ week dont know how might be luck........
Yea, it is not just replacing adsense with affiliate links, its about getting more subscribers to your e-newsletter or your rss feeds.
basicly it's always a good idea to collect subscribers to your newsletter even with adsense on your site, by removing it, it will cost you money in the short run but return more profit in the long run.
