Adsebce abd DNOZ

    I have a lot of content on my site and the homepage has very little effort to sale anything. My monetizing efforts are all reachable though the navigational bar as well as though T 3 articles. Having said that in addition to this I want to use absence but after looking at some sites in DMOZ and they do not have absence so if I use absence will that work against me when I suggest a site?

    Filling your site full of spammy adverts will harm your chances of approval.

    I got in a hurry typing and misspend adsence. That is what I mean to say. Now that that is cleared up.
    I want to know if adsence ads work against a site when submitting to DMIZ

    Editors are told to mentally block out the adsense (or any other ads for that matter) and evaluate the site based on the rest of the content.

    That having been said, if you were to design your site with the content buried somewhere and the main pages covered with adsense, chances are the reviewing editor will reach for the delete button.

    Some editors feel stronger about it than others, so it very much depends on who reviews your site. if you do it tastefully and have what an editor would regard as good and unique content (i.e. not content copied from other places) then it shouldn't harm your chances.
