Ads won't appear!

    Hi,

I've been searching for a cat to sponsor using my affiliate earnings, and will probably start sponsoring a child as well in the future.

After reading the great tips on this forum I tried out a few things and produced 2 pages for my two sponsorship schemes.

Unfortunately on the child sponsorship page the ads don't all appear. The following two have the same HTML code but one is missing out a few ads:

    http://www.financialcharting.com/charity/sponsorship/sponsor-an-african-child.htm

    http://www.financialcharting.com/t/index.htm

Is there a reason for the two being different? The first URL is what I'd like to use for production, and the 1st was what I used for development.

Apart from that, do the pages look OK? I think it would be great if I could sponsor a cat and child purely using Adsense revenue.

The things that I did to try and make good use of Adsense were:

    - Blend in the Adsense Links bar with my own links in the top left.
    - Stick pictures above the leaderboard at the bottom of the screen.
    - Use Golden Rectangles for the image sizes (145 x 120)
    - Remove borders from the adverts

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

I see the ads on both the pages! what is the problem You have?
adlinks and adsense both the ads can be seen!
Initially it takes some time for google bot to visit your site and supply the relevent ads. It also depends on traffic you get in your sites! more traffic means early entrance of bot and early crawling of pages and more ads!

    Imran,

Thank you for looking at my page. The ads missing are outlined in this picture. I still don't see them. But they are on the "Sponsor a Cat" page which has virtually identical HTML. Is there a chance that there's a problem on my machine? I didn't think that Adsense stored cookies...

I think you need a graphic or banner at top of the page. I rarely have a window fullsized. When I opened page all I saw was tiny text. Since web is a visual medium I like seeing something other than text.

    Good luck.

Sorry about that. Dodgy host. I can only get it to work if I copy and paste it manually into a browser address bar.

Not working! The link taking me to the same old hosting site!
    Thats okie mate!
Here is my advice! Get traffic into your site, optmize the site for Search engine results, do link exchange! this will help you in getting more traffic which will cash in with more CTR!
