ads sometimes not showing?

I've seen this a few times now

sometimes, it just won't generate an ad. if I refresh it an ad pops up just fine.

even when there's no ad, the "an-hl" comment shoes up still.

is there any way to fix this? if not, if the validation runs by and this happens, would I lose all my weight? how would it handle that?

I suppose it's possible... look in your ad_network_ads.txt file and see if there are any blank spots. Maybe if there was a network connection failure between your server and the ad server.

I don't see any blank spots..

I don't know if this is even possible, but it seems like the "first" time I vew the site, it tends to happen, but reloads after that work fine.

I've seen it in two different browsers.

I wouldn't think it's an error, since it's not outputting anything though

Yeah, I've seen this too, a little too often.
Shawn: Is it ok to add a check to the code and grab the next ad if it's empty?

Yeah, that's fine... although if the first was empty, I would guess it's a network issue and a second one would probably be empty too.

I've notice this myself and wondered if it was "My" ad that wasn't showing up. I added a second ad to my pool and disabled the first before the second was reviewed. Now I see the blank ad but no sign of the second ad which I have now enabled. Did I somehow throw a wrench in the works?

The ad probably hasn't been reviewed yet.

I was able to "enable" the ad. Does that mean the ad has been reviewed?

No, you can enable it right away, but if it says pending review, then it has not been reviewed yet.

It no longer says, "Pending Review." I hope I didn't goof something up.
