I have had a few campiagns where google upped the click rate to $5.00 and up per click..of course these keywords were paused as i would lose much money on this.So today,i see these words are active and getting clicks all of a sudden..What happened?did google realise that it was a crazy to charge $5 a click when i was paying .10 a click for 2 years?

this is crazy. the wole idea of pausing is that it will not show. i suggest you contact google and ask for an explanation

from .10 to $5 is quite a jump. did your QS drop significantly?

hmmm,i don't kind of agree. I had once an account where it asked me for a minimum bid of $10. But when i changed my domain name (and not any on the landing page and ads), it fixed my problem. Not telling you to change your domain though, but that just solved my problem :)

That sounds risky. Beware . . . Your new domain will probably get slapped soon! You should also have revised your landing page and campaign. Not to scare you or anything, but it's probable.

i just shared my experience. may be risky but that was the only way i solved my problem cz i was very sure the landing page is OK. but then again, im not saying you 'need' to change your domain :)

yes a domain change is the fastest way, however not an option for a company that is branded.

Example if dell had a campaign slapped by google you think they want to change the domain name?

No, they can't... they must keep the domain and therefore need a solution to fix not replace.

I have fixed many slapped accounts, it does take time its not an overnight solution but it can be done.
