    Just keep research mate......maybe you can do some experiment about ads placement on your site........based on my experience....keep experimenting with ads placement is the best way.......

    No prob just place it by following ad sense help there are some basic demo to place ads on any page and it not so bad so you should follow them

    Try to have the ad placement where you think people will click and try to match the background colour of the text ads with the background colour of your website.
