Ads paying less over time?

Hey well i just started up a photoshop tutorial site - http://infinity.neoncube.net and everything is going great - put adsense on it and have averaged about 1 dollar a day for the last 4 days (2 dollars yesterday - got a tutorial accepted on good-tutorials!) but today the prices for each click seem to have dropped severely?

Is it because the ads lose value over time? Or is it just depending on the day of the week or something? But what i am recieving now is abismal compared to that of the last 4 days or so (only added adsense 4 days ago!).

Oh and any comments etc. appreciated

Less advertisers or more publishers thus less earnings.

There's LOTS of variation. And yes, I find Mondays and Tuesdays are usually best.

Higher rank in organic searches produce higher CPC.

That's not necessarily true. I have a site that ranks very crappy but gets decent earnings/click. I have another site that gets great rankings, but gets very little/click. The high bid amount is a driving force behind your commission.

The amount you are making and the length of time you have been participating are both constraints that will easily reflect big variances in your stats. Don't worry about them until you are getting a lot more clicks and have more history to compare to. Even when you get to a higher daily click level and have some history it will be pure speculation to try and figure out what the causes are behind changes in your stats. I suppose there's such a thing as educated speculation, but that's still just guessing :)

Congrats on a good start though.

cookie I can see what the (a) big problem is - your Google Ads are all normal "Brushes", but you dont need house-brushes ads, you need to have photoshop-brushes ads! (or other ps-stuff). Your Photoshopvisitors will not click on homebrushes.

So you have to download the "Google AdSense Preview Tool" to fix the problem.
(I dont know the english downloadlink)
I know it because at the beginning I put my adsense in my PS-Portal I had the same problem, it was fixed then from google 1 or 2 weeks later.

    greetings, Wally
and thank you for the Link!!! :)
