I'm getting opinions that the ads on the homepage of FreewayWebhost are overdone. What are your thoughts? Should I cut back? (Note: there are not that many ads on user pages, just on our own homepage.) Thanks for any advice!
Overall, I've seen much more blatant advertising. I think the largest banner ad at the bottom is the problem - it stands out from the crowd since it is all alone down there. The empty space either side of it only eccentuates the problem.
That doesn't look overdone imho. And, everything is aligned, and there is no question that they are ads. What I find annoying is the people who make their ads look like contact, trying to TRICK you into clicking. I've seen this done with so many adsense sites, it makes me sick.
